I have been meaning for some time now to express how truly impressed I am by the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. I just received an invitation in the mail for the Mentor Meeting. These meetings are one example of many that demonstrate how exceptional the program and its employees are.

Lake Lucille Fishing Derby

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County was lucky enough to have been invited to participate in the Lake Lucille Fishing Derby thanks to one of our Mentors! The Fishing Derby was open to our Littles and their Mentors 12 years old or younger. This event was sponsored by the Lake Lucille Property Owners Association. It was a great day for fishing, we had blue skies and the fish were biting. Every Little caught a fish that day and did not leave without a prize! Prizes included tackle boxes and starter poles. Throughout the day the barbecue was going so no one left hungry! Everyone who participated had a great time and was very thankful to the Lake Lucille Property Owners Association for having us be a part of this event. We hope that they will keep us in mind for next year!
