I have been meaning for some time now to express how truly impressed I am by the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. I just received an invitation in the mail for the Mentor Meeting. These meetings are one example of many that demonstrate how exceptional the program and its employees are.

Mel Davis Future Stars Basketball Camp

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County and the Mel Davis Future Stars Basketball Camp partnered for the first time this summer in the Field House at Rockland Community College.Twelve lucky youngsters who are program participants in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring Program enjoyed a fabulous week experiencing the value of team work and good nutrition. Each day they benefited from improved basketball skills, not to mention the challenge of self-discipline and wholesome lunches! On behalf of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring Program, Board members, personnel and, of course, these fortunate 12 - we applaud this offer and congratulate Mel on his remarkable sports camp initiative.
