Little Daphkar received a Rockland Community College Black Achievement Award

On the evening of February 24th, Little Daphkar received a Rockland Community College Black Achievement Award! The award recognizes outstanding scholastic, personal, and community achievement among students of African descent in Rockland County and is awarded to students throughout the county in 6th, 8th, 10th & 12th grades. This is Daphkar’s 4th time receiving the award. Daphkar has been matched with her caring Big Sister Susan since 2015 and it is always great to see their smiling faces. Daphkar’s mom, Marie shared ” Thank you for your support and always being there for the family. I’m so proud of BBBS, thank God for the program! Take care!”
